Seoul-sick – it’s all about the charcoal

For some reason my trip to Seoul has destroyed my blogging spirit. Normally, there is nothing I want to do better than put up a few pictures and write some garbage but I’ve dropped to one post a week or nothing. Shock-horror, Jen’s even been posting.

I think it is because I am slightly Seoul-sick. The SE Asian version of homesick.

So, it’s time for me to get over it and get back to Hong Kong. This is therefore my final post on Seoul and it is about is why the food there is so much better than the iterations of Korean food you get at home. Meat cooked on charcoal at your table. Not gas, not electric, not hotplate. Charcoal.

  1. This brings back great memories of Seoul. Korean BBQ does taste better under the coals.

  2. Korean BBQ and hot pot falls into my favorite friends and family sharing food in Asia! ..of course back home it goes back to cheese fondue!! ;)
