Last weekend a few of us foodies in Hong Kong got together to host The Cock Up – an attempt to inject a bit of fun and frippery into the food scene in Hong Kong.

The intention was to highlight an unsung hero of Hong Kong’s food scene – the cocktail sausage. It worked – we had cocktail sausage hedgehogs, treasure chests, a cocktail sausage Mona Lisa, molecular styled soups, cocktail sausage ice cream, sausage vodka in Bloody Marys, pac man sausages and on and on.

It was a lot of fun, the pictures don’t reflect the genius of the entries or the dedication which went into the “Best Sculpture” category.

Thanks to all who came. Now for the next event – an instant noodle pop up which just needs a good name. What about #caNoodle?
